Terms of Service
Last revised July 2026
These terms are maintained by Builder Society and govern your use of the site and the member application.
Membership
Membership is by application and admission is at our discretion. You must provide accurate information, you must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
Acceptable use
- Do not misrepresent your identity, experience, or affiliations.
- Do not harass, spam, or solicit members outside the purpose of the platform.
- Do not scrape, export, or resell member or contact data.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls or probe the service for weaknesses.
- Do not upload unlawful content or content you have no right to share.
We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these rules.
Your content
You keep ownership of the ventures, documents, and other content you create. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, process, and display that content in order to operate the service for you and the collaborators you invite.
AI-generated material
The product generates drafts of documents, decks, plans, and outreach. Generated output is a starting point, may contain errors, and is not legal, tax, financial, or investment advice. Review everything and take professional advice before you rely on it.
Payments
Paid memberships are billed in advance through our payment processor on the interval shown at checkout, and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and access continues until then. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable.
Introductions and collaborations
We connect members; we are not a party to any agreement, venture, employment relationship, or investment that results. You are responsible for your own diligence and for the terms you agree with other members.
Availability and disclaimers
The service is provided on an as-is basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or where required by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the revision date above, and continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
